我々は、普段、体の一部にすぎない「顔」という器官に無意識に多くの意味をのせ発し、読み取り、判断をしている。
また、動物や、仮面、さらにはさまざまな物の一部がそれらしく見えるというだけで、感情を見出し、
受けた印象から、そのものの良し悪し、好き嫌いを決定している。
しかし、それらは受け取ったがわの作り上げた虚像に他ならない。
つまり、自分の中にある他人、他のものの「顔」というものはじつは自分の一部であり、自己の投影なのである。
このアニメーションは自分の中にある顔をつないでいくことで自分自身を形にしていこうという
いわばアニメーションによる自画像である。
The “Face” is a work of self-portrait.
That is, all human beings have own identity,
and we try to find a real means of self by connecting
those inside of our each faces.
We unconsciously judge people by looking only one part, which is “face”.
Also, our decisions of taste toward
likes and dislikes to all kinds of objects come from
our individual impressions. For example,
we seek an emotion into an object only because
that looks something preferable to him or her,
such as when we see animals, masks, and a variety of other objects.
However, these are nothing but virtual images of the individuals.
In other words, inside of your face is a part of yourself,
and it is a projection of yourself.
